Arriving By Car Lubbock is easily accessible by car. US 62/82, US 84, I-27, US 87 and TX 114 are well maintained roadways which allow for easy driving in and out Lubbock. The Overton is near the intersection of University and 4th Street (US 82), less than 2 miles West of Interstate 27, only two blocks East of Jones AT&T stadium on the Texas Tech University Campus. Use the address of 2322 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401 (Map) to set GPS destination. Parking The Overton Hotel and Conference Center offers ample free parking for registered guests. Getting Around Lubbock There are several eateries, gift stores, and the Texas Tech University campus within comfortable walking distance of The Overton Hotel and Conference Center. Your conference hosts, TTUHSC, will provide necessary transportation for all conference events outside the hotel. One evening will be available for dinner on your own or with other attendees and vendor sponsors at any of a number of restaurants within the vicinity of The Overton and The Depot District. A shuttle will be available to get you to and from the various selected venues, additionally maps and a restaurant guide will be available at The Overton so you can explore other locations on your own. Guest Program Guests that accompany a conference attendee who would like to visit local attractions are urged to contact Arthur Paré prior to the conference so that adequate arrangements can be made for all participants. |
